MRS*SPECT/CT/MR

MRS*SPECT/CT/MR

One SPECT for both SPECT/CT and SPECT/MR

The MRS*SPECT is based on the CLIP-ON technology for SPECT/CT and SPECT/MR up to 9.4T. The system can be moved between the CT and the MR within minutes. This dramatically improves the workflow and limits the investment as only one SPECT CLIP-ON is required for multiple imaging configuration. The SPECT CLIP-ON is based on multi-pinhole technology.

  • Sequential SPECT/MR and SPECT/CT imaging
  • Multi-pinhole apertures for high resolution or high sensitivity
  • Benchtop SPECT/CT or floor standing version with high resolution CT up to 5 µm
  • Whole body rodents
  • Compatible with MR up to 9.4T.
  • SPECT field of view: extended Axial ≤ 300mm , transaxial ≤80 mm

Overview SPECT/MR and SPECT/CT technology

MRS*CLIP-ON Technology for SPECT/MR & SPECT/CT

The CLIP-ON technology is a unique plug and play concept making the same SPECT component compatible with CT and MR up to 9.4T. This modular approach offers significant advantages in efficiency and workflow, and most importantly, considerably reduces the investment for the research institute.

SPECT Technology: Multi-pinhole

The MRS*SPECT for small animal imaging uses a multi-pinhole technology without trade off between resolution and sensitivity . The system is available with several set of apertures for mice and rats.

MRS*DRYMAG: Proprietary Cryogen-free MR Technology

The MRS*DRYMAG technology up to 9.4T does not require liquid helium or liquid nitrogen for the cooling, hence the term dry magnet. Read more about MRS*PET/MR for simultaneous imaging.

CT Technology with variable zoom and dual energy

MRS*SPECT/CT 80 has a variable zoom allowing high resolution up to 5 μm. This system is suitable for both in-vivo and ex-vivo applications.

MRS*Preclinical Scan: Multimodality imaging Software

Preclinical Scan is the multimodality interface for preclinical imaging. Under one interface users have access to all MRI functionalities such as adjusting MRI pulse sequences parameters, but also have access to the PET, SPECT and CT extended functionalities. We have designed the graphical user interface to be friendly and easy to set up, even for the new user. For the advanced user, real-time optimisation and advanced functionalities are available. Preclinical Scan software can be configured with different levels of access depending on the experience of designated users. Learn More

Animal Handling and monitoring

MRS*SPECT/CT’s and MRS*SPECT/MR’s use advanced animal handling and animal monitoring systems. Much more than a simple animal bed for preclinical imagers, the system provides a well-controlled environment for handling lab animals and plays a critical role in obtaining accurate and reproducible imaging results.
