MR Solutions at the WMIC 2015
MR Solutions are inviting delegates to see future developments in the preclinical MRI sector at the annual 2015 World Molecular Imaging Congress (#WMIC2015) in Honolulu, from 2 to 5 September, 2015. The next generation of superconducting 3T, 4.7T and 7T cryogen-free MRI preclinical imaging systems can incorporate up to 12 hour power protection. There is no quenching due to power loss and no cooling water is required.
These systems provide superior soft tissue contrast and high spatial resolution with gradients up to 1000 mT/m and can be placed inside Class 3 or 4 laboratories as external venting and building modification work is not needed.
The World Molecular Imaging Congress (WMIC) is organised by the World Molecular Imaging Society (WMIS), and is led by senior academic and industry professionals who are exemplars from the molecular imaging community. Previous events have been held across the world in Korea, France, Canada, Japan, California, Ireland and Georgia.
Dr David Taylor, physicist and CEO of MR Solutions said, “The delegates at WMIC will have the opportunity to see our multi-modality MRI imaging systems with PET and SPECT accessories, which can incorporate a power protection option to prevent system downtime. We are really delighted to be able to offer a system which can not only meet their MRI needs but remain on when utilities fail.”
MR Solutions is the world’s largest independent developer and manufacturer of preclinical MRI technology and was the first company to develop a commercial cryogen free 3T range of preclinical bench top MRI scanners in 2012, followed by the more powerful 7T range in 2014.
MR Solutions has over 30 years’ experience and in excess of 1000 installations across the world. Its scanners are renowned for their excellence in terms of superior soft tissue contrast and molecular imaging ability.
