MRS*PET/CT All models

Four preclinical PET/CT's for animal imaging up to 12 kg

Nuclear molecular imaging systems for preclinical research. PET/CT scanners from MR Solutions are available with different bore sizes allowing research studies on various applications such as Neurology (brain), Oncology (cancer), Cardiology (heart), inflammatory and others. MR Solutions PET/CT are specifically optimised for academic research laboratories and the pharmaceutical industry. All PET/CT models from the Benchtop to the super large bore PET/CT 220 system are in-line scanners incorporating a motorised bed with a sub-millimetre precision. It allows the subject to be scanned automatically without any manual intervention from the operator. This provides a perfect co-registration of the images between each modality.

Mice, rats and marmosets imaging:

  1. MRS*PET/CT BenchtopCompact PET/CT device for small environment installation, provided with a motorized bed between PET and CT.
  2. MRS*PET/CT 80: Floor standing PET/CT based on a high resolution CT with a variable zoom achieving 5 µm resolution.

Guinea Pigs, rabbits and large animals up to 12 Kg

  1. MRS*PET/CT 120: Bore size of 160 mm allows 3kg animal imaging such as rabbits, guinea pigs. The system is based on a high resolution CT achieving 10µm
  2. MRS*PET/CT 220: Large bore PET/CT designed for animals weighing up to 12 kg.
Overview PET/CT

MRS*CLIP-ON Technology for PET/MR & PET/CT

MRS*PET/CT’s are based on the MRS*PET CLIP-ON technology. It is a unique plug and play concept making the same PET component compatible with CT and MR up to 9.4T. This modular approach offers significant advantages in efficiency and workflow, and most importantly, considerably reduces the investment for the research institute.

PET Technology: True Depth Of Interaction (DOI)

The MRS*PET for small animal imaging uses the latest silicon photomultiplier (SiPM) technology. The detector assembly (crystal/ SiPM) allows true DOI (depth of interaction) with two pixelated layers of scintillator crystals with different matrices. This design enables the MR SOLUTIONS PET module to reach under 0.8mm resolution.

CT Technology with variable zoom and dual energy

MRS*PET/CT 80 and MRS*PET/CT 120 have a variable zoom allowing high resolution up to 5μm. These systems are suitable for both in-vivo and ex-vivo applications.

MRS*PET/CT Benchtop: rodents imaging

The MRS*PET/CT Benchtop for mice and Rats imaging up to 600 g. In-line scanner incorporating a motorised bed with sub-millimetre precision, allowing the animal to be scanned automatically without any manual intervention from the operator. The benchtop design from MR Solutions provides perfect co-registration of the images between each modality, thus avoiding the users having to move the animal manually from one modality to the other. The PET is based on the MRS*PET CLIP-ON technology, built with the latest silicon photomultiplier (SiPM) technology. The PET component is compatible with 9.4T MR. Learn More

MRS*PET/CT 80: rodents imaging high resolution CT 5 µm

The MRS*PET/CT 80 is a high resolution PET/CT scanner for imaging mice and rats up to 600 g. The PET is based on the MRS*PET CLIP-ON technology, built with the latest silicon photomultiplier (SiPM) technology. The CT is using variable zoom achieving very high resolution up to 5 μm and also dual energy. The PET component is compatible with 9.4T MR. Learn More

MRS*PET/CT 120: 3 Kg animal imaging high resolution CT 10 µm

The MRS*PET/CT 120 is a high resolution preclinical PET/CT designed for high resolution imaging for animals weighing up to 3 kg. The PET is based on MRS*PET CLIP-ON technology with a clear bore size of 160 mm. The CT is using variable zoom achieving very high resolution up to 10 μm and also dual energy. The PET component is compatible with 9.4T MR Learn More

MRS*PET/CT 220: 12 Kg animal imaging

The large bore MRS*PET/CT 220 is designed for animals weighing up to 12 kg depending on their shape. The MRS*PET 220 has an inner bore size of 295 mm and provides an active trans-axial field of view of 220mm. The system offers the latest technology with true Depth of Interaction (DOI). This enables high resolution across the whole field of view to be achieved. Learn More
